Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and security concerns. Design end-to-end solutions that integrate various cybersecurity technologies and IT systems to meet those needs.
- Security Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ existing IT infrastructures and cybersecurity postures. Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps. Provide recommendations for improvement.
- Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest trends, threats, and technologies in cybersecurity and IT. Possess a deep understanding of networking, cloud computing, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and other security tools.
- Architecture Development: Develop architectural diagrams, specifications, and documentation for proposed solutions. Ensure that solutions are scalable, resilient, and compliant with industry standards and best practices.
- Solution Implementation: Work closely with project teams to implement and configure cybersecurity solutions. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the implementation process. Conduct testing and validation to ensure that solutions meet functional and security requirements.
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients by providing expert advice, demonstrating thought leadership, and delivering high-quality solutions and services. Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate complex cybersecurity challenges and make informed decisions.
- Training and Enablement: Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients’ IT teams to ensure that they can effectively manage and maintain deployed solutions. Offer guidance on security best practices, incident response procedures, and security awareness training.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance and effectiveness of deployed solutions. Collect feedback from clients and internal stakeholders. Identify opportunities for optimization, enhancement, and innovation.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and solution architecture.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or similar.
- Proficiency in network security principles, encryption protocols, security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001), and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess complex technical challenges and develop creative, effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build consensus among diverse teams.
